These non-decaying
heat-set synthetic fibre mats are used as a levelling layer. Heavier gages are used for rougher surfaces.
Sarnafelt may not be exposed to moisture or weather.
Sarnafelt T is recommended
for use in mechanically fastened systems, because it is easier to penetrate.

Sarnafelt GK (400 g/m2)
This
is a synthetic fibre mat with a PE coating on one side. Sarnafelt GK is used mainly as a protective
barrier and slip sheet beneath paving or poured cementitious toppings.

Sarnafelt T (300 g/m2) This is a UV-stable, non-decaying synthetic fibre mat used as a separation and levelling layer between Sarnafil T waterproofing and incompatible substrates. Sarnafelt T can also be used as a protective layer between Sarnafil T waterproofing membrane and any protective topping or paving.
Sarnafelt T is the only type of Sarnafelt that may be exposed to weather.
