Sarnafil
T Prep
Material and Use
If
Sarnafil T is not to be welded using the Sarnamatic with Prep nozzle, the contact surfaces of seams
must be prime-washed with Sarnafil T Prep before welding. Sarnafil T Prep is also used as a general-purpose
cleaner to remove surface dirt from Sarnafil T membrane during installation and to remove bitumen residue
from the membrane. Sarnafil T Clean should be used to remove “old” dirt stains from Sarnafil T surfaces.

Recommendations
The seam
areas of Sarnafil T membrane to be welded should be washed with a clean cloth saturated with Sarnafil
T Prep. The chemical must be allowed
to evaporate before welding the membrane. Use a
solvent-resistant cloth only. We recommend using the Sarnafil Seam Preparation Set or WetTask Set.

Sarnafil
T Clean
Material and Use
Sarnafil
T Clean is used for cleaning heavily stained Sarnafil T surfaces.
Application
Recommendations
Depending
on the degree of soiling, the stain should first be cleaned with water, etc. Then saturate a clean,
solvent-resistant cloth with Sarnafil T Clean. Wipe clean the membrane surfaces to be welded. Let chemical
evaporate. Sarnafil T Clean should be used for cleaning heavily soiled membrane only. Before welding
the Sarnafil T membrane, the seam areas must be prime-washed with Sarnafil T Prep.

Seam
Preparation Set
The Seam
Preparation Set makes seam preparation and cleaning easy. The set includes 150 white solvent-resistant
fleece cloths and 100 disposable PE gloves.
When cleaning seams, the
cloths should be periodically replaced, otherwise dirt will be spread instead of removed. A different
cloth should be used for prime-washing the seams.
Cloths moistened with Sarnafil T Clean
may not be used for prime-washing seams.
WetTask-Set
The
WetTask Set consists of a dispenser bucket, a large roll of
300 solvent-resistant white
cloths, and 100 disposable PE gloves.
Remove the gloves from the container.
Fill container with 5 litres of Sarnafil T Prep and fasten lid tightly. Pull each cloth through the
dispenser opening. The cloths are ready to use, pre-saturated with Sarnafil T Prep, making seam preparation
an efficient task.
To reduce evaporation of the solvent, close the dispenser
cap after each use. The fleece roll can be reloaded with Sarnafil T Prep as needed. To avoid unintentional
mixing, always fill the WetTask Set with Sarnafil T Prep only.
The dispenser
bucket is reusable. A refill set is available that includes a large cloth roll and disposable PE gloves.
