Mechanically Fastened Roof – A watertight case

The trend in building is clear: construction methods must conserve resources. Our Sarnafast and Sarnabar Systems both obey this charge, offering durable roofing with broad design flexibility and proven wind resistance.

Sarnafast System: Depending on the substrate, the roofing membrane is fastened to the deck using barbed washers and fastening bars. Adjoining membrane sheets are lapped and the seams are heat welded.

Sarnabar System: In this system the roofing membrane is fastened to the deck using Sarnabar fastening bars. The bars are then covered with a membrane strip that is welded along both edges.

Both the Sarnafast and Sarnabar Systems are fast and efficient to install, producing a roof that is secure against wind uplift.
