Account Specialist (Customer Service), Midwest
Sarnafil is an innovative leader in thermoplastic roofing
and waterproofing products. Through our customers, we have enjoyed a world class reputation of reliability
and performance. We are looking to hire a capable Account Specialist in our Customer Service Department,
located in our Midwest Region, Lemont, IL. This individual will receive, interpret, enter and manage
the completion of customer orders for our products on a Regional basis. Additionally, this individual
will assist with projects that further improve operational service to customers. This individual must
become and remain proficient in knowledge of our products, services and operational procedures. This
position is located in our Midwest regional office in Lemont, IL and reports functionally to the Manager
of Customer Service (corporate) and to the Midwest Regional Manager for day-to-day issues.
The duties and responsibilities include:
- Administer completion of customer orders for our products on
a Regional basis
- Promptly answer questions from customers as they
arise
- Promptly answer questions from Sales Representatives as
they arise.
- Enter and maintain information in the Sales and Distribution
module of SAP.
- Issue and maintain 3rd
party purchase orders
- Monitor backorder lists, open billing lists,
scheduled picking and shipping lists
- Scan documents and maintain
project and customer files
- Follow company policies in effect at
the time
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager of Customer
Service or the Regional Manager
Minimum
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- 2
years + in a customer service related position
- Experience with
SAP Sales and Distribution module highly desirable
Personal
Abilities and Skillset:
- Proficient in Windows Office applications, especially Windows
database
- Ability to complete tasks quickly and correctly without
direct supervision
- Capable to enthusiastically research and resolve
issues
- Precise, very detail-oriented approach
- Service
and people oriented personality
- Excellent phone manners
