MAINTENANCE ELECTRICIAN, 2nd Shift
Sarnafil
Inc. is looking for a Maintenance Electrician for 2nd shift coverage for
our headquarters in Canton, MA. Sarnafil is an innovative leader in thermoplastic roofing and
waterproofing products, and has established a world class record of reliability and performance. The
incumbent would be responsible for all mechanical and electrical issues which arise on 2nd
shift within Canton facilities and installs, maintains and repairs electrical and mechanical systems
including PLC controlled production lines.
The
position responsibilities include:
- Maintain controls on production lines
- Repair
AC and DC motors
- Install conduits and boxes and wiring systems
- Troubleshoot
and repair electrical systems working from wiring diagrams and schematic drawings
- Troubleshoot,
repair, and maintain all types of machinery within buildings whether mechanical or electrical or plc
controlled
- Work on your own and be as professional as possible
completing work in a timely fashion while being thorough enough to complete work orders and maintenance
log books
- Perform all duties while maintaining high quality with
every day thoughts for Environment, Health and Safety
Your
Qualifications:
- High School Degree
- Licensed
journeyman electrician in the state of Massachusetts is a must
- 5
years industrial or manufacturing related work experience
- Understanding
of PLC controlled production lines
Personal
Skills and Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds, stoop, kneel, climb stairs
and ladders, stand and walk for the majority of an 8 hour shift
- Technical
understanding
- Effective Communicator
- Creative
problem solver
- Capable of working without direct supervision
- Willingness to work on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri)
