Staff/ Sales Tax Accountant
Sarnafil

class reputation of reliability and performance. We are looking to hire a Staff Accountant. This
individual will deal with a variety of general accounting tasks including month end work, and will also
be handling some credit collection duties. This position reports to the Accounting Manager.
The
duties and responsibilities include:
- Prepare and assist with month end closings
- Handle
general ledger work and journal entries
- Complete Sales Tax Returns
and maintenance of multi state sales tax software
- Back
up function for AR/AP clerks
- Other duties as assigned by manager
Minimum
Qualifications:
- High School Degree
- 2
years + accounting experience strongly desired
- Sales Tax and Accounts
payable experience required
Personal
Skills andRequirements:
- Good aptitude for numbers
- SAP
experience helpful
- Ability to research and resolve issues on your
own
- Experience with sales tax and month end closings
- Computer
proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Windows and Accounting Software)
- Good
communication skills
- Detail oriented
